Are you finding it hard to recruit what you think you need and need a new approach? Are you experiencing a shortage of skills and need a new solution? Are you interested in increasing remote working, and want to know how to make it work? Do you want to know how to plan your workforce growth? Do you want an organisation that can pivot when you change course?

As the proportion of full-time employees in the labour market falls below 50% of the working population and remote and part-time working, flexibility, freelancers, zero hours contracts, Gen Y’s and Gen Z’s are on the increase, Amanda Seabrook provides clear steps that you can take to negotiate the new norm, allowing you to accommodate the modern worker.

The speaker is Amanda Seabrook, who started her career in Investment Management, working as an Investment Analyst at Fuji Lord-Abbett and ABN Amro Asset Management (Australia). She set up Workpond in 2011, initially as a marketplace for flexible work. This developed into full-service recruitment. In 2016, Workpond launched its Consultancy business providing support to businesses looking to develop more agile business structures, integrating flexible working with their overriding company goals.

This continues our series of Power breakfasts which consist of a speaker presenting a  topic which is then discussed over breakfast. This is a fantastic way to get clued up on a certain subject learning from somebody who is an expert in the field.
It is a great opportunity to start the day on a productive note by being able to walk away with some real tips on how to be more productive as well as meeting and discussing a topic with some great business people.

07:45am - Arrival with teas and coffees
08:00-08:20am - Speaker
08:30am - Breakfast and discussion
09:00am - Further networking
09:30am - Close

Feedback from other recent Power Breakfasts:

Andrew Dennis – Power Breakfast at Sandown Park Racecourse
“Fantastic Venue and Breakfast. There was a good group of people, all with ‘can do’ attitudes as well as an engaging speaker. I obtained a number of new contacts and received further networking opportunities. I also felt that I had come from the breakfast having learnt something new which is a big bonus!”

Andrew Maxwell - Tante Marie
“Surrey Chambers Power Breakfasts have been a great success for me… not only have I come away with useful insights which will have a real impact on the way we develop our management team and run our business, we have also benefitted from the networking opportunity, opening up a potentially exciting new business opportunity.”
